Juniper Presents: The History of Gin, a gin tasting class with Dr. Robert Wardy Juniper is proud to host a semi-monthly gin tasting class with University of Arizona Philosophy professor Dr. Robert Wardy.

About the event
Classes will be held on the first and third Monday of each month and will include six tastings. Dr. Wardy will guide guests through the history of gin and gin cocktails while sharing anecdotes to those cocktail connoisseurs who are interested in diving deeper into the fascinating and storied legacy of this beloved spirit. Classes are hosted from 7 pm until 8:30 pm, limited to 12 participants. Tickets are available for $80 per class, with a $20 advance reservation fee refundable up to 48 hours prior to the event; balance due at the event. The tasting menu is as follows:

- Modern Cocktail Tasting (choice between Botanist G&T or Strawberry Basil Smash)
Dr. Robert Wardy has been teaching Philosophy for 40 years. He received his education at both Yale and Cambridge, where he taught for many years before moving to Arizona. Dr. Wardy has been a lifelong juniper spirit and cocktail connoisseur, and in his youth worked in bars in both Montreal and Italy. He is thrilled to be working with Juniper to educate the Arizona drinking public in the ways of gin.
